Barkha....dont get confuse ...if u wanna go for Ph D then its essential for u to go for M Tech.....there is a provision only for B Tech IIT students that they need not go for M Tech If they wanna go for Ph D......IIT B Tech students are exumapted from it....

hi barkha, in present it is normal scenario that every company wants experts in a particular subject. and when ever any person complete his/her b.tech.., then he/she have a basic idea of all the subjects related to its branch, but not� a experts in the field. so, if u are doing m.tech. after b.tech. from a reputed college like IISC, IIT and NIT, then it sure that u will achieve a high goal in ur carrier...........

well fr'n u hvae enough time in ur hand to prepare for GATE......if u cn spend some amount on material then its better for u to get it from brilliant tutorilas....u can search it on google...since i am student of M Tech IIT kharagpur� i am suggesting u so....i got those notes from there only....u cn check out following link.too...

per the rule was in 2008. and ur friend which is in 3rd yr can
