It would be better if you attempt gate in 2009... Very few questions will appear from the fourth year syllabus...
Also you will get a know how of the type of questions you may get in GATE...
It will be really gr8 if you can crack gate in your third year itself.. you can have a really gr8 fourth year ,,, and if you dnt get through in the first attempt.. you will have enough time in fourth year to hav another go...
but do try your best in the first attempt itself.. dnt think that you hav another chance in fourth year... You can utilize your time in doing a really good project in fourth year..
