no.. you cannot use those scores for getting admission in 2010 but you can
surely use them after you pass out your graduation in 2009 (as you might be
in your final year now). Be logical, using it in 2010 would imply a validity
of three admissions (which obviously is not).
as for the third yearites waiting for the GATE 2009, they are very well
eligible for writing the exams but the score is valid for just a year so
they wont be able to get admission on the basis of the scores they obtain in
their third year. your friend can very well take this opportunity to fathom
the level of his preparation, but its of no use as far as admission is
concerned and he will have to write the exam again in his final year.

Course fee???

hi everyone

.can anyone tell me the course fee of ELITE correspondence course for GATE. i read in the forum that the fee is around Rs5000. But when i enquired to ELITE in mail i was told the fee as 8989Rs. I am fully confused. Also if anyone knows of how worthy the course material is plz reply.

hi barkha,
Ravi here i found ur msg, i think u shud go for M.Tech. my cousin is studying in iit guwahati,he is a geotech. student of m.tech-ll yr. u will not belive he went to Germany last week for his project for 9 months,for that he is getting 1800 euro/month as stypend. and definately he is going to be observed as most deserving candidate when he 'll sit for any interview. if u ll ask about me i m student of M.Sc organic chemistry but i still belive that my carrier will be stabilized when i ll complete my M.tech or P.Hd.
so dont think just start preparing for GATE. ALL THE BEST TO U AND WHOLE GROUP..
