Hi Chandrashekhar,

Please go for GATE seriously give it a try for once, I am telling you with the personal experience i was in the same situation i took gate in my third year got some 95% though i din� write it seriously, fourth year starting i got into TCS thru campus then the next year i din give a serious try to GATE...for which i am repenting till date....

GATE in IIT's is valued the most believe it or not...you get a really quality education there, and you can enjoy your 2 yrs of student life also where yoiu are exposed tto much more intellectual students and compete wid them...dont loose the chance.

Ya its possible to give GATE while working but it is quite tuff believe me i have given GATE last year and i know how stressful it would be...GIVE GATE A SERIOUS TRY...ALL TEH BEST

Hi, It would be better if you attempt
gate in 2009.
Very few questions will appear from the fourth year syllabus.
Also you will get a know how of the type of questions you may
get in GATE..It will be really gr8 if you can crack gate in your
third year itself.. you can have a really gr8 fourth year ,,, and if
you don't get through in the first attempt.. you will have enough
time in fourth year to hav another go. But do try your best in the
first attempt itself.. dnt think that you hav another chance in fourth
year. You can utilize your time in doing a really good project in fourth year.
