(Query) Experince or M.tech?

Hi guys,
I am a mechanical engineer of 2006 batch.
I working in HVAC design field.
I am in dilemma whether i should take up the GATE exam.If i wrote this and get selected, i have to spend two more years, in that i will lose two years of my experience?
In that case which one should i prefer, experince or the pg degree?

Hi,
It would be better if you attempt gate in 2009.
Very few questions will appear from the fourth year syllabus.
Also you will get a know how of the type of questions you may
get in GATE..It will be really gr8 if you can crack gate in your
third year itself.. you can have a really gr8 fourth year ,,, and if
you don't get through in the first attempt.. you will have enough
time in fourth year to hav another go. But do try your best in the
first attempt itself.. dnt think that you hav another chance in fourth
year. You can utilize your time in doing a really good project in fourth year.
