uhm i suggest u read c from ne book(evn kanetkar) bt 4 proficiency 1c
u complete the basic reading go thru d Hidden Treasurs of C ,Test ur C
skills .
it will help u in GATE, specialy output or error queations

Hi

Let us C is a good book for C beginners, no doubt. But you don't want to study all topics in Let us C(Y. Kanetkar). After reading Let us C, if you feel that, Let us C is nothing, you can understand that you have studied only the basic concepts of C. But that book not covering the typical Pointers in C. So, read Pointers in C(Y. Kanetakar). Then read Test Your C Skills(Y. Kanetkar). This is the best way to start. But, if you are reading only books, you won't study C and for that you should use a machine.

Hidden Treasures of C(Dharaskar) also a good book. Then Deep C Secrets( Peter Van), C Programming Language(By C Inventor Ritchie and Keringhan) etc. etc.

Then, please check previous years GATE C questions, its based on some particular topic and you don't want to study all. Its the best way for preparing GATE.

There is no book/website available for cracking GATE C questions. Its purely logical in Part-B. But in Part-A, they will ask some basics. So try C Objective questions, thats the best approach
